Technical writer

Job Description

Collect, understand and document information that will be communicated to our clients or internally
Organize and write supporting documents regarding the product characteristics, including instructions (help files) and release documentation
Prepare manuals, user guides and tutorials
Assist people in finding the documents or information they are looking for
Design and format documents in a way that corresponds to the requirements set by our company
Maintain existing documentation by updating both the content and the look
Being responsible for the information storage and text implementation using data repositories
Test and revise documentation in case needed
Write news and articles for the Portal Product website (knowledge base), while maintaining a high standard of English
Work in a close collaboration with Designers, QA, software developers and project management people

Excellent written and spoken English (higher education majoring in English is a plus)
Previous experience in working with documents, user manuals or text-heavy websites
Advanced MS Word and MS PowerPoint skills
Ability to create diagrams and charts
Perfectionist attitude towards the process of writing and maintaining documentation;
Strong attention to details and good creative skills
Proactive, results-oriented personality
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Independent attitude combined with the ability to work as a team player
Capability to quickly familiarize oneself with a gambling product

Working experience in Agile/SCRUM environment
Knowledge of Atlassian Confluence
Understanding of source repositories and file systems
Software developer background, understanding of development frameworks (HTML, CSS, JS, JMM/JSON)
Experience in writing help files and preparing release documentation
Knowledge of online gaming and mobile standards
