Fish Happens: Growing Multipliers in the Deep Dark Ocean

Deep down in the ocean, things get weird. Fish Happens is our new 5×4 slot with 1024 ways, and the symbols don’t fall but rise. Combine that with Cell Multipliers and Sticky Wilds in Free Spins, and the deep sea gets very busy.

The cast is a proper deep-sea lineup. Six high-paying symbols (Pufferfish, Axolotl, Sabertooth Fish, Goblin Shark, Celestial Eye and Benthobatis) and four coral low-payers. The Wild is a Blobfish. The Scatter is an Anglerfish.

Upflow Cascades

Most cascade games drop symbols from above. Fish Happens flips it.

After a win, the winning symbols disappear. The remaining symbols move upward, and new symbols rise from the bottom to fill the gaps. Wins are checked again after every cascade. The sequence ends when no new win appears.

Cell Multipliers

This is where the grid starts to matter.

When symbols win, they explode and mark their cells. If the same cell is part of another explosion in the same cascade sequence, a Cell Multiplier appears on it. Each further explosion on that cell raises it by +1, up to ×5.

A few rules worth knowing:

If several multiplier cells are part of the same win, their values are added together.
Multipliers apply to the win before they increase.
In the base game, multipliers reset when the cascade sequence ends.
In Free Spins, they never reset between spins.

Free Spins with Sticky Wilds

Land 3, 4 or 5 Scatters to trigger Free Spins. There can be only one Scatter per reel.

3 Scatters = 10 Free Spins
4 Scatters = 15 Free Spins
5 Scatters = 20 Free Spins

The grid expands from 5×4 to 5×5, which brings 3125 ways. Upflow Cascades stay on. Cell Multipliers persist for the entire feature, and they keep growing every time their cells take part in a win.

Sticky Wilds

The Blobfish Wild lands on reels 2, 3 and 4. It substitutes for all symbols except Scatter. In the base game, it works as a regular Wild.

In Free Spins, it becomes sticky:

It stays in place for the whole feature.
When it takes part in a win, it moves up one cell before the next cascade.
If it reaches the top row and wins again, it leaves the grid.
Sticky Wilds that are not part of a win stay where they are.
Remaining Sticky Wilds carry over to the next spin.

Extra Free Spins

When Free Spins end, you may get an offer to buy additional spins. The extra spins continue the same session. Active multipliers and Sticky Wilds stay on the grid. The offer only appears under specific game conditions, and the price depends on the game state.

Booster Bet

Booster Bet is an optional toggle in the Buy menu. It raises the total bet by +25% (1.25×) and increases the chance of landing Scatters and triggering Free Spins. It stays on until you switch it off or the session ends.
